JC International Coaches Academy today signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Ogun State Football Association
Top officials of the Coaches Academy on Thursday visited the Secretariat of the Ogun State Football Association.
During the visit, JC International Academy explained that it is entering into partnership with the Ogun State Football governing body in order to ensure that grassroot coaches are presented with a rare opportunity of getting inclined with the modern ethics of the profession.
The Chairman, JC International Academy, Dr. Joseph Ogunsanya noted that the time has come for him to infuse the knowledge he has garnered in the United States into the Nigerian coaching sector.
The UEFA Licensed coach said " We realized that we needed to come in with something of this nature so as to perfect the synergy that should exist with the necessary authorities"
"Dr. Ogunsanya assured the state football Association that the partnership has come to stay and it will birth a new era for coaching in Ogun State "
The Chairman, Ogun State Football Association, Alhaji Ganiyu Majekodunmi in his remarks gave kudos to JC International Academy, he expressed the readiness of the state FA to partner with more private individuals in developing the round leather game in the Gateway state.
Alhaji Majekodunmi who is also an executive board member of the Nigeria Football Federation said the new initiative will be mentioned at the NFF level, with a view of having the top echelon of the Football body keying into the MOU.
He said " On behalf of Everyone at Ogun State Football Association, I appreciate Dr. Ogunsanya and his team for this wonderful gesture, it has come to stay and we will do everything within our reach to strengthen this relationship".
Also In attendance were the Vice Chairman of the Ogun State FA, Alhaji Nojeem Lasisi, Technical committee chairman of the FA, Dr. Bayo Oluwatoki, technical committee member, Alhaji FA Yusuf and Elder Victor Idowu, the FA secretary.
The Proprietress of JC International Academy Mrs Comfort Ogunsanya was also in attendance alongside the technical director of the academy, Coach Hakeem Busari.
Journalists from different media organizations also witnessed the event where the MOU was signed.
