Ogunniyi Omojesu has secured a move to top Latvia Virsliga side, Riga FC from Spartkas Jurmala.
The 20yr old signed a three year deal which would first see him go on loan until the the end of the season at FK Auda.
Considered as one of the finest young player in Latvia, Omojesu part ways with Spartaks Jurmala, a club he helped with massive contributions, the last being a hattrick against Metta/LU in their 4-2 win.
“This is a good move for Omojesu as I am convinced his continued growth will be maintained at a high profile club like Riga FC”, his agent, Bayo Adigun of Badig Sports Management told thevitalnews.com.ng
With a stunning left foot and eye for key passes, Omojesu’s magic and dribbling ability continue to be a big asset of him.
“I’m happy with this new challenge and ready to give my all to Riga FC so as to achieve our desired success”, Omojesu said after completing the move.
“I had a great time at Spartaks and I’ll like to thank the club for allowing me grow as a footballer, it’s time for a new step and I’m ready to embrace it”, the former sunshine stars winger continued.
Riga FC are second on the Latvia Virsliga log with 45pts.
