Yusuf Abdulazeez scored a brace as Gombe United defeated Kwara United in an NPFL matchday 29 clash at the Pantami Stadium on Sunday.
Yusuf scored in the 9th minute to give the home side the lead and in the 63rd minute to restore Gombe United’s advantage after Jide Fatokun had equalized for Kwara Utd.
Daniel Barnabas and Samad Bellow ensured the game was out of Kwara Utd’s reach with goals in the 83rd and 85th minute respectively.
Yusuf is now one goal shy of the league’s leading scorer, Rafiu Isaq of Rivers Utd on 14 goals.
In his mesmerizing self, Yusuf is one of the prolific goalscorer in the league which the national team handlers, especially the Super Eagles B team have to put an eye on.
