Shooting Stars forward, Malomo Taofeek says he is gutted not to be available for the southwest derby clash in the NPFL on Sunday.
Shooting Stars will host MFM FC at the Lekan Salami stadium in Adamasingba in a matchday 29 game but will be without the diminutive attacker due to accumulated yellow cards from MD 1, 2, 23, 27 and 28.
A disappointed Malomo said he wish he is available to feature in the derby but he’s confident in the abilities of the rest of the squad to get the desired result.
“It’s a shame that I won’t be available r this game due to suspension but I believe in our players to make the people of Ibadan proud”, said Malomo.
“Of course, I’ll be rooting for the boys and hopefully they will be able to do the double over our brothers from Lagos”, he concluded.
Shooting Stars won the first leg 0-1 in Lagos in January via a 6th minute strike from Akilu Mohammed.
