Sodiq Awujoola and Abubakar Mohammed both scored as Smouha SC progressed to the quarterfinals of the Egyptian Cup.
Playing at the Alexandria stadium this Friday, Smouha got the better of Alaab Damanhour 3-1 when Sodiq opened the scoring in the 24th minute before Alya Sylla scored the second goal.
The visitors however reduced the deficit via Ali Oscar with four minutes left of the first half.
With Alaab Damanhour going strong for the leveler in the second half, the game was put to bed by substitute, Abubakar Mohammed in the 93rd minute.
The duo who are of Badig Sports Management continues to show their technical ability in Egypt for Smuoha SC and are becoming an integral part of the team.
