Malomo Taofeek scored his first ever NPFL goal as Shooting Stars broke the heart of Heartland FC with a 4-0 bashing in an NPFL matchday 10 game.
Playing at the Lekan Salami stadium, 3SC who had won their last two games knew a win against bottom placed Heartland was only right to set the tone for for their next game, which will be a southwest derby versus Remo Stars.
After a drab scoreless first half, Kolawole Daniel gave the coach Edith Agoye led side the lead in the 52nd minute before Malomo Taofeek, on as a substitute, slotted beyond the goalkeeper to put the home team comfortably ahead with the VIA Football Academy proving his worth to the team.
Further goals were added by Ayo Adejubu and Raheem Nafiu.
The win has now placed Shooting Stars to 6th on the NPFL log.
