Abubakar Mohammed has joined Egyptian premier league side, Smuoha SC on a two and a half year deal.
The move was announced by the player’s agent via their official Twitter handle this Tuesday, which read; “We are delighted to announce that ABUBAKAR MOHAMMED has joined @smouha Sc Goodluck bro ⭕️⚽️✅✅💪”
Abubakar, who is also of VIA football academy is a midfielder who can also play as a winger with a superb close control of the ball, quick thinking and good passing rate.
He now joins Sodiq Awujoola, who since his move to Egypt is lightning up the league.
His incredible skill set allows for tactics to be changed at a whim in the full knowledge that the he will put in a stellar performance regardless of his position on the pitch.
Hence, Abubakar has now made his debut for Smuoha SC in their 0-0 draw against National Bank Of Egypt in a cup game, coming on in the 60th minute.
Smuoha SC is an Egyptian sports club based in Smouha, Alexandria, Egypt and currently plays in the Egyptian Premier League, the highest tier of the Egyptian football league system.
The club are 6th on the log with 12pts having won three matches, drew three and lost just one in the 2021/22 season.
