Busayo Olatunji has won her first HE Chief Olusegun Obasanjo National Squash Championship.
On a wet Saturday evening in the city of Abeokuta at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library, OOPL, Busayo Olatunji won yet another squash tournament to her name, this time a first in the OOPL arena.
Seeded number 2 and having gotten past Udeme James in the semi final, the stage was set for a spectacular contest against number 1 seeded, Abdulazeez Rofiat.
Busayo started strong winning the first set 11-8 but saw her opponent bounce back and she lost with the same score in the second set.
The Delta state representative came back better in the third set with a win of 11-3 and finished up with a massive win of 11-7 in the last set as she stretched and work hard for the win to see off a 3-1 final score line.
