Spartaks Jurmala midfielder, Ogunniyi Omojesu has been named in the Latvian Higher League, team of the week for matchday four.
Omojesu has now featured in two team of the week thus far this season, the first one coming after round two fixtures earlier.
Despite his team 1-0 home lose to FK Rigas Futbola Skola, Ogunniyi continued with his deft left touches and eye for key passes as he was a thorn in the flesh of his team’s opponent and rightly so, he was named in the team of the week.
His left foot magic and dribbles was a problem for most duration of the game as Spartaks Jurmala were unable to capitalize on his chance creations.
The defeat as now placed Spartaks 6th on the log with 3pts from four matches.
