CAFCC: Cyril Olisema Confident Of A Good Start With Enyimba In the Group Stage

Enyimba midfielder, Cyril Olisema says the people’s elephant will begin their CAF Confederations Cup on a good note this Wednesday in Aba.

Enyimba started their campaign in the CAF Champions League before dropping to the Confederations Cup after losing out to Al Mereikh of Sudan.

They defeated Nigeria rivals, Rivers United in the play off round of the competition before getting the group stage ticket.

The eight times league winners will start their group stage campaign against Libyan side, Ahli Benghazi and Olisema is leaving nothing to chance for a good start.

“We have doted our Is and crossed our Ts, the group stage is a very different ball game and we are confident of a first win to get our campaign off on a winning note”, he said.

“Of course, we know that it’s going to be a tough game against any Libyan side but this is Enyimba where victory is always the target and we hope to get it on Wednesday”, he concluded.

The match at the Enyimba stadium will kickoff 2pm.
