Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL leading highest goalscorer, Sadeeq Yusuf of Sunshine Stars has expressed his excitement at scoring his 7th league goal of the 2020/21 season.
Yusuf scored his goal in Sunshine Stars 1-2 loss at home to Kwara United, when he opened the scoring with a terrific finish from an acute angle to break the deadlock before their visitors came from that goal down to record a famous win in Akure.
“Actually I feel bad for the lost but it is part of the game but we will work hard to win our subsequent games”, he said after the game
“I am happy to score again and will keep on scoring by the grace of God”, he concluded
Sadeeq Yusuf latest goal in Akure on Sunday took him past Ndifreke Effiong of Akwa Utd who is presently on six goals as Yusuf continues to lead the rest of the pack in terms of goals scored in the NPFL this season.
