Sunshine Stars’ Sadeeq Yusuf recorded his 8th league goal of the ongoing Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL season this Sunday in a matchweek 11 clash against Heartland FC of Owerri.
Playing at the Akure Township Stadium, the highest goalscorer in the league so far scored from the spot in the 71st after Sunshine Stars had a penalty awarded to them when the referee adjudge Heartland to have handled the ball in the area.
The result meant Sunshine Stars have now dropped yet another point at home as the game ended 1-1 against the Naze Millionaires
Sadeeq Yusuf now leads the pack as per the top scorers chart closely followed by Akwa United’s Ndifreke Effiong.
