Deputy Senate President, Ovie Omo-Agege on Tuesday endorsed the SUPER EAGLES SUPPORTERS CLUB as the core support base for the Super Eagles and other national teams.
In a letter made available by the Senior Special Adviser on Youth and Sports Azania Omo-Agege said the club's records towards supportership speaks volume hence the need to identify with the unique and reputable brand.
"We have the compliment of the Deputy Senate President of Nigeria and wish to use this medium to congratulate you and your Exco on the emergence of the SUPER EAGLES SUPPORTERS CLUB as the core support base for SUPER EAGLES and other national teams in Nigeria.
The giant strides you have record in galvanising the fans and supporters for the team both locally and Internationally have not been unnoticed. We however assure you of our unflinching support and endorsement of your programs".
The Super Eagles Supporters Club led by Prince Vincent Okumagba thanked the Deputy Senate President Ovie Omo-Agege for his love and support even as he promised to keep the flag flying.
"This means a lot to the Super Eagles Supporters Club, indeed our works and efforts have not gone unnoticed.
I want to use this medium to thank the Deputy Senate President Ovie Omo-Age for his support, anytime we call he is always there, to my Excos thanks for making the work easier".
The Super Eagles Supporters Club currently in over 21 States in Nigeria will continue to be a 12th man for our National Teams.
