Highly sought after Sunshine Stars midfielder Ogunniyi Omojesu has left Akure for his hometown Ibadan ahead of his next move away from the Akure Gunners.

Omojesu has been a subject of transfer interest from Lobi Stars and Enyimba FC but Sunshine Stars are reluctant in losing the midfielder who has now told thevitalnews.com.ng that his next club will be announced in the coming as a transfer is now imminent.

The player who started off his football career at Via football academy before moving to Stationery Stores where he played for a season, can be likened to David Silva for his eye for pass and tricks with the ball.

Omojesu helped Sunshine Stars to ninth on the NPFL 2019/20 Log with 34pts from 25 matches.

He scored three goals in the process in 20 games which were against Adamawa Utd, Rivers United and Plateau Utd.
