Former Super Eagles captain, John Mikel Obi is in line to join championship side, Stoke City.
The former Chelsea, Middlesbrough and Trabzonspor midfielder is set to have his medical at the Bet365 stadium before the deal is completed.
Mikel is a free agent after he left Trabzonspor on mutual consent.
The 33yr old will sign a one year deal on Monday.
Mikel was part of Nigeria’s AFCON winning squad in 2013 and had an illustrious career at Chelsea.
