Nigeria football federation NFF is seriously considering Kano Pillars FC as Nigeria's representative for the 2020/2021 CAF Confederation Cup competition
A top source in the NFF told NSM media that the NFF plans to make former champions of the AITEO Cup Kano Pillars FC represent Nigeria at the event after exhausting all available openings
Eggheads in the football house are pushing for Pillars to get a continental slot having won the last edition of the AITEO Cup. The arguement is that since there was no AITEO Cup competition this year, defending champions Pillars should have another shot at the Confederation cup.
