First Nigerian Coach To Win A European League Title, Ndubuisi Egbo Attributes Success To Players Tactical Brilliance

Albania based Nigerian Football coach Ndubuisi Emmanuel Egbo has attributed his success in Albania to God and his players maximization of his tactical philosophy.

Coach Egbo in an interview with Nigeria Sports Mouthpiece NSM Rebranded this Monday said it was all God and his coaching staff willingness to drill the team to success.

He also lend his voice as regards the Super Eagles lack of fear mentality at winning the AFCON, saying National teams across Africa and some part of the World go into every game against the Super Eagles with fear.

"Back then, you can't mention just one best player in the team, everyone was good, we had Kanu Nwankwo, Jay Jay Okocha, Finidi George, Celestine Babayaro, Tijani Babangida, Victor Ikpeba and a host of other top players that scares the opponent. Back then when a team is playing against the Super Eagles they feel like they are already a goal or two goals down because of the big names in the team, opponents go into the game afraid but football Nations have improved and they have players abroad".

The Albania based coach believes that if the Super Eagles gets back the consistent winning mentality and fear factor, the glory days will return in no distant time.

Coach Ndubuisi Emmanuel Egbo recently became the first Nigerian coach to win a European title after winning the Albania League title with Tirana.

Egbo featured 12 games for the Super Eagles as a goalkeeper.
