The chairman of Lobi Stars FC of Makurdi, Mr Mike Idoko says if the LMC are to consider the point per game (PPG) basis at ending the NPFL season, they need to consider using the NPFL Table that ended as of matchday 13.
Idoko who was speaking on live TV said he is of the opinion that the 2018 season can't be compared to this as all teams played the same number of games during which Lobi Stars represented Nigeria in the CAF Champions League.
"We didn't agree to the earlier decision of PPG because it is unfair on our part. The best is to stick to the table that had teams on the same number of games which is the matchday 13 table", Idoko said.
The Nigeria Football Federation, NFF will this Wednesday meet with NPFL
stakeholders by 1pm to determine the best way at ending the 2019/20
season.
The meeting will take place via video conferencing with all stakeholders expected to be in attendance.
