Tottenham Hotspur Records One Coronavirus Case Ahead Of June 17 PL Resumption

The premier league has confirmed that they’ve received a positive Coronavirus case from the 1197 test the league carried out for the fourth round of testing ahead of resumption of the league. 

The positive case is said to be from Jose Mourinho’s club side, Tottenham Hotspur with spurs releasing a statement as regards the positive case. 

“We have been informed by the Premier League that we have received one positive test for COVID-19 following the latest round of testing at our Training Centre”. 

“Due to medical confidentiality, the individual’s name will not be disclosed”.

“They are currently asymptomatic and will now self-isolate for seven days, in line with Premier League protocol, before undergoing further testing”, the statement concluded. 

We shall continue to strictly adhere to the Premier League’s Return to Training protocol, which ensures our Training Centre remains a safe and virus-free working environment.

It is believed that the league will still go ahead as regards the June 17 date.
