Guendouzi To Face No further Action Over Brighton's Maupay Incident


Arsenal young midfielder  Matteo Guendouzi will face no further action after an altercation with Brighton & Hove Albion's Neal Maupay in Saturday's premier league.

The incident happened after the final whistle of the weekend game which ended  2-1 n favour of Brighton, with Guendouzi appearing to grab Maupay by the throat.

The FA has confirmed that the altercation was not seen by the match officialsat at the time but,because it was subsequently reviewed by the VAR and no action was taken, Guendouzi will face no further punishment.

French striker Neal Maupay scored deep into injury time to complete a remarkable comeback win for relegation threatened Brighton &Hove Albion their first victory in 2020.
