The federal government of Nigeria will on Thursday July 2, take a final decision on the cancellation or continuation of the 2019/2020 Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL.
This was revealed to NSM media by a top source in the Nigeria football federation who spoke on condition of anonymity.
He said, after consultations with relevant bodies, a decision on the way forward will be made public on Thursday.
According to him, any decision taken, will be in the interest of Nigeria football as government is abreast of all necessary information needed to make the right decision going forward.
