Bundesliga: Ehizibue, Sarenren-Bazee in Action As Cologne Hold Augsburg Away


Super Eagles defender, Kingsley Ehizibue was in action for FC Cologne whose winless run continued following their 1-1 away draw against Augsburg, in the German Bundesliga games on Sunday.

Cologne were on the verge of ending their winless streak after Anthony Modeste scored on 85th minutes,but in the 88th minutes Philipp Max drew Augsburg level to earn his side a share of the spoils.

Ehizibue played for 90 minutes in the game which was his 27th appearances  in the Bundesliga this season.

Also in action for Augsburg was Noah -Joel Sarenren-Bazee who also played for 90 minutes in his seventh league outing for Augsburg .

The draw means cologne have now gone six straight games without a win, losing three games and drawing three.

For Augsburg, they have not recorded a win in their last three games securing two draws and one loss.

Cologne are currently in the 12th position on 35 points after 30 games, while Augsburg are in 13th position on 32 points in the German Bundesliga table .
